Differences in Hunting Saddles

The HuntLyte Hybrid Saddle

Let’s talk about the major differences if the main designs of saddles and explain the HuntLyte difference.

Single-Panel

A single panel saddle is the most common saddle type you will see. They aim to bridge the bottom butt and top of the hips. Lighter weight and more packable than a Pleated or a Two-Panel saddle.

Two-Panel

The second most common style, Some would call them “The Cadillac of Saddles”. Larger and bulkier than the other styles, they have one panel that cups the but and one panel that cups the lower back/hips and is connected at a common point.

Pleated

Pleated saddles Amed to provide more comfort than a single panel by allowing for more space for the saddle to “expand” and cup the butt more.

Hybrid

The newest design on the market the HuntLyte Hybrid design provides the lightweight and packability of a single-panel with the comfort of a two-panel while adding increased safety against inverting (flipping upside down).
